Community Resources of Kingston Tour

September 13, 2022 @ 8:45 am - 1:00 pm

So you’ve arrived at An Clachan. Now what?

Need to look for work? Questions about settling in Canada? Looking for opportunities for recreation and nearby shopping? New this year! We are having a Resources of Kingston Tour. Click here to book your spot and join us on Tuesday September 13th starting promptly at 8:45am.

We will start at An Clachan in the central quad between the basketball net and community gardens. The tour will take approximately 4 hours and will provide an opportunity to meet other An Clachan residents, visit several organizations, learn about the transit system and about some of the tourist locations in Kingston. We will end the session by stopping at Beaver Tails in Springer Market Square and take a photo in front of the “KINGSTON” sign in Confederation Park. All transportation via bus and taxi will be provided and food can be purchased with a 10% discount.

Note that the tour does including a fair amount of walking in the area. Here is a map which includes the resources that will be included on our tour. The longest portion of the journey will be covered by city bus and then taxi back to An Clachan.

For more information, email amy.okesola@queensu.ca.  In the event of heavy rain, we may reschedule this event. Pre-registration is required for this program and you must be an An Clachan resident in order to participate.
