In-Person English Conversation Circle

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until December 22, 2020
This program is run in collaboration with KCHC Immigration Services. Each week has a different theme for discussion. You will expand your vocabulary, build confidence in speaking English, meet other community members and our sessions are never complete without some laughter. Our facilitator is an experienced English teacher and has a unique way of getting everyone involved. Whether you’re preparing for an English competency test or just looking to practice, come join us. *Ring the doorbell at the entrance to Building 6 and one of the Community Assistants will come let you in.
The following COVID safety precautions will be in place:
- Masks are required
- Adults only
- All in-person events will be physically distant
- Sign up ahead of time is required
- First come, first serve – space is limited
- No food or drink
- Community space washroom & kitchen will be closed for use
- Hand sanitizer will be available
