English Conversation Group. Queen's University International Centre English Conversation Groups starts again this fall on Wednedsay September 19, 2018. All are welcome! Come out to practice english, learn new things and meet new people.
Parent and Tot Drop-in. Bring your 0-5 year child(ren) to play with others while you connect with other parents. Parent and Tot Drop-in on Thursdays at 10:30 am starting October 18, 2018 in 06-102. We've got a play mat and a selections of toys for your toddler to enjoy.
Kids' Time. Looking for something fun for the kids to do that is close to home, and is free? Come to Unit 6-102 for our weekly Kids' Time on Mondays at 6:30 to 7:30pm. The program will vary in structure and content from week to week but may include such activities as playing games, reading stories, singing songs, learning common phrases in different languages and playing with a selection of toys. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Wednesday Decmeber 12, 2018. Soulful Singing was such a success we are having an encore. Join Wendy Luella Perkins at 9:30 am for this uplifting, meditative practice. A great way to relieve some end of term stress.
Wednesday December 12, 2018. The date is planned for the next Games Night. This evening is for adult participants only. Come out to play your favourite game.
Friday November 30, 2018. We have games and activities planned for the P.A. Day on Friday November 30 between 10 am and noon. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Thursday November 29, 2018. November Games Nights is set. Bring your own game or play one of ours. This evening games night is for adults only. Snacks provided.
Thursday November 22, 2018. Sing away some worries and feel rejuvenated! Join singer-songwriter Wendy Luella Perkins with this musical meditative practice of Soulful Singing.
Tuesday November 20, 2018. Take a break, you deserve it! Join Amy for a Stress Buster Cafe. Bring your favourite mug. Various activities available.
Tuesday November 13, 2018. Bring out your creative side with this fun Crafternoon. If you have scissors, bring them or share Amy's.
Friday November 9, 2018. Come out from 7 to 9 to enjoy music, entertainment, rangolis and much more at this Diwali Celebration
Tuesday November 6, 2018. Bust some stress with an outdoor game of Manhunt. Meet at 06-102 at 7 pm for this adult version of hide and seek.
Monday October 29, 2018. Join us for this very special Halloween themed Kids Time from 6:30 – 7:30.
Friday October 26, 2018. Four Directions is joining us for this P.A. Day event to teach us how to make a corn husk doll and tell how they fit in the indigenous culture. All ages are welcome at 1:30. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Thursday October 18, 2018. Games Night is back. Bring your own board game or play one of ours. Never played a board game before – not a problem, come out to 06-102 at 7 pm to see what it is all about. Remember this evening event is for adults only.
Friday September 28, 2018. Join Kate Johnson, Queen's Chaplain to make a button for your backpack during the fun P.A. Day kids time.
Saturday September 22, 2018. Join us in the courtyard from 1 pm to 5 pm for the Fall Fun Fair. There will be an obstacle course, mini putt and lots of outdoor games. Fun for all ages.
Saturday September 15, 2018. Meet your neighbours and connect with resources from Queen's Campus & Kingston Community and the An Clachan Meet & Greet. Between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm in 06-102.
Monday September 10, 2018. Kids Time celebrates International Literacy Day. Bring a book to trade with other children at the Children's Book Swap.
